We are Rick and Maggie and we moved to our home in Wales with our family 32 years ago .Our house has never been connected to the Grid .
We set up Mair’s Bakehouse in 2006/7. It was named after our youngest daughter , Mair , who sadly passed away in 2009 . 
From 2008 – 2020 we sold our breads and pastries at local shops and markets and direct to households . 
When covid arrived we stopped baking and selling thinking it might be over quickly . how wrong we and many others were . Although we no longer bake for sale ( we are both 74 and semi retired ) we do offer Bread Courses in the winter months in the warmth of our Wood Fired Oven Bakery .
